Horror

Horror! Halloween is coming up soon and that means, at least, for me, reading and writing many horror stories and watching Alfred Hitchcock repeatedly. but, what makes a good horror story? well like any other story it needs a good sustainable plot. in my opinion it doesn't necessarily need to be well thought out but that does help. A Little About Me

A Little About Me Hello Friends... I'm Ellie a 14 year old teenager ( I'm quite mature for my age, I say quite) from the UK. If you enjoy reading and writing, fiction or non-fiction you are officially my best friend! I give YOU reading this, Writing tips, book suggestions and once in awhile a film review. I love creative writing, so much me and my best friend approached some teachers at my school about creating a club. I know spend every Friday in my schools library helping younger students become budding authors. ( if you can call them that) I aspire to be a journalist one day and in some ways I already am! I write for an online magazine called EXCLAIMER MAG! -  It is available worldwide so make sure you check it out! Until next time, Ellie

If you have seen an Indiana Jones movie you will see many twists because one happens every ten minutes which keeps us viewers on the edge of our seats but a good book can also do this. In my opinion this adds great depth and detail to the story because you may think you know a character but they may shock you. A brilliant book that some of you may of heard of is ‘Vampire Academy’ which I believe Rachelle mead wrote ( not sure sorry!) this story actually made me feel the emotions the characters felt, it was amazing at some points you were asking for something to happen but once it did you felt the regret of that the characters felt. It’s is a great example of emotional writing/literature. (If that’s even what you call it.) I have currently been reading the story ‘Mister Creecher’ by Chris priestly into the first few chapters a lot of unexpected things happened it
