What's in my bag? | School Edition

Image
Hello Lovelies, I would just like to say sorry for the late uploads! Anywhom This evening I thought I would make a post about what I have in my school bag as I had been organising my bag for school tommorrow and I thought some of you would be interested.                      (New photo editor - thoughts?)           Here is what I keep in my bag?  A Pencil Case and Extra Coloured Pens and Highlighters. My School Planner (which I will get tomorrow). A 150 Page Subject Notebook and a 300 Page Study Book (both A5)  I also like to keep a perfume in my bag but my fabulous best  friend Bethany bought me a next travel size perfume in sparkle for my birthday. I LOVE the scent of this perfume and it is a great size for a handbag. Another thing I like to keep in my bag if I am wearing makeup is a small mirror and some mascara and lipstick to touch up my makeup. Thanks for reading and i hope you enjo...

My Finished Bedroom! | Room Tour 2015

Image
Hello Lovelies, Today I thought I would show you all my room now that it is finished but I am still thinking about getting a new bed for Christmas but it is finished for now. This is what you see when you first enter my room.  Here is a panoshot of the wallpapered back wall.  A closer look at my TV area that my dad made which I think looks amazing so I am very grateful for that. As you can tell in the photo I am currently trying to catch up with Pretty Little Liars.  Here is a photo of the wall where my bed and window is.  A closer look at my bed and wall art. (My Bee is called Sybil)  Here is a panoshot of the wall where my door is. My makeup tables and wall art.  Now here is the wall opposite my window.  This wall is pretty simple it has a mirror an canvas image of a bumble bee.  I hope you all enjoyed this post I did not mean to boast or brag in anyway I just wanted to show you the end result of my room because I have been telling you all about...

DIY Shabby Chic Makeup Table

Image
Hello,  As some of you may know I have been redecorating my bedroom and I have never had a really nice makeup table - ever! So me and my mam set out to refurbish an old set of drawers.  Before we painted the drawers we sanded them down (with sand paper 😂) and then we applied the paint! A good tip with applying paint is to go with the natural wood grain or it just won't look right.  The paint I used was Rust-Oleum Chalk Finish Furniture Paint In Chalk White!  If you want it to look 'shabby chic' then apply two coats and go other when finished with a damp sheet of sand paper to make it look distressed. When you have the disered look make sure it stays and won't get stained by the stuff on it by applying wax. I personally used the wax that the paint tin said to use which was Rust-Oleum Finishing Wax. And this was the end result.. Dun... Dun...Dun!  Tell me what you think in the comments also this post was not sponsored by Rust-Oleum as much as I love there product...

May Favourites

Image
Hello! Today I thought I would (finally) upload my May favourites. I had a lot of time out shopping in May which is very abnormal for me (note the sarcasm). So this post is also a bit of a haul (to fuel my shopping addiction even more).  (Disclaimer: None of my posts are sponsored unless said. And all opinions are always my own)                1. Andrew Barton Miracle frizz tamer super smoothing shampoo. Gosh is that a mouthful. I have never tried any Andrew Barton products before but I was wanting something that could smooth out my naturally frizzy and curly thick hair and this is perfect for that. I love this and will definitely be repurchasing it.  2.  Nice n Easy Conditioner I dyed my hair last month and it can make your hair very dry. Which is why the conditioners you get in the hair dyes are so thick, creamy and actually more conditioning than most conditioners if that makes any sense? I actually love these conditioners t...

My Favourite Eye Make up Products

Image
Hello, I decided to do a post on some of my favourite eye make-up products so here it is. 1. I love eyeshadow palettes that work for day and night so the Barry M Palette Natural and it is only £4.49 at Superdrug. Although it is a palette full of neutral colours but by placing a bit of the darker colour on the eye lid for a bolder look. If I had to rate this palette out of five I would give it a 4/5 as it is great for neutral and classic colours but I personally only use some of the colours on the odd chance as this next product is one i use every time I wear make-up and when I use it I don't need any other eyeshadow products. 2. MUA Eyeshadow Palette Undressed. I use this palette every time I wear makeup so maybe a few days out of the week but when i do use it the eyeshadows offer great colour and are easy to blend. If I had to rate this palette out of five I would give it a 5/5 it is amazing the thing I could fault about it is how long it lasts as from my personal exper...

Makeup Starter Kit

Hello guys I know I haven't posted in over a week - I apologise sincerely. This is a post for anyone starting out with makeup or anyone who wants to revamp their makeup bag. I know I don't really post much on beauty or makeup but I decided to mix my blogging style up a bit. All of these Products are available to buy in most UK drugstores i.e Boots and Superdrug. Foundation I personally believe if you are new to makeup or have been using it for years a BB cream or CC cream or maybe a tinted moisturiser is a lot better and healthy for your skin than a heavy foundation. I have used and loved the maybelline dream fresh bb cream that costs around £7.99 in Superdrug and Boots. The only problem i have with this product is that it doesn't have a very wide range of shades which isn't suitable for everyone. Advice on acne

Image
I have had bad acne for quite a while now and getting rid of it has always been a massive problem of mine, but I have found a series of products which have helped my acne slowly go away.   The picture on the left is from august 2014 when my acne was really bad and it still is in some ways. After this break out I began a regular skin care routine which consists of these products: 1. Product one is a moisturiser which I believe is by the brand Creightons - its a perfectly clear balancing mattifying moisturiser which also claims to help control problem skin, help prevent spots and blackheads, it has a matt finish non oily formula for all skin types. how will this product help my skin? this moisturiser contains Salicylic acid which gets rid of spots, so if you have spot ridden skin try and get a product with Salicylic acid in. 2.  Epiduo gel is a product I got from my doctor it contains benzoyl peroxide which is also in the acne.org product...
