5 Music Artists For 2015

Here is a countdown of 5 up and coming artists of 2015 and who I think will be big this year.

Disclaimer: Every artist and song listed is from my own opinion and online research.

Jess Glynne is a English singer-songwriter who is well known for the summer hits 'Rather be' (which she collaborated with clean bandit on) and Route 94's 'My Love', she is also known for her original song Right Here all three going to number one. the reason why I think this artist will be big in 2015 is her amazing voice and unique sound which she said took her a while to find. check out more of her music here: https://www.youtube.com/user/MissJayeGlynne

Becky Hill was loved by us all when she sung the song Gecko (overdrive) with DJ Oliver Heldens and took it too number 1 in the summer of 2014. Let's talk a little more about Becky, she is a 20 year old, British singer-songwriter and first blessed our TV screen's when she auditioned for the Voice UK and gained a spot on Jessie J's team. Shawn Mendes is famous for being apart of the 'Magcon Boys', although I have a strong disliking for Magcon anyone with a brain can tell this boy has talent and is on to something big (if his song something big hasn't already persuaded you). He is a Canadian Musician and at the age of 16 he released his first song 'Life Of The Party' but he is more well known for featuring in the vamps version of the hit song 'Oh Cecilia'. James bay is a British musician he has released 3 EPs The Dark of The Morning, Let It Go and Hold Back the River. James Bay's album 'Chao's and Calm is due to release on March 23rd 2015. James Bay has won a Brit Award (critics choice) and came second in BBC's sound of 2015 he is also up for a MTV Brand New For 2015 award. 1. Rixton

Rixton had a Number one hit single with their debut song me and my broken heart and there second song Wait On Me was top 10. I had the amazing opportunity of seeing Rixton live and they sound BETTER live ask anyone who has seen them. I also think Rixton aren't your average band when you go to see them live they interact with the audience and really appreciate their fans for all the support they've given them over the past few years.

Front man Jake Roche is 22 years old and son of Colleen Nolan and Shane Richie although having famous parents he hasn't used their fame to get the band where they are now, they've used the internet to get online stardom and got a record deal with Scooter Braun.  You may also recognise Jake's face from Emmerdale as he had small role for a few episodes.  Pianist Danny Wilkin is 24 years old and from the Blackpool area, him and Jake met through living in the same area and became good friends before deciding to start a band in the back garden's caravan. Danny is also known for dating actress Jennifer Veal. Charley Bagnall the guitarist is 28 years old and met the guys through mutual friends and became the third member of this wonderful foursome. Lastly Lewi Morgan rixton's drummer aged 26 Lewi and Jake met through both being interested in the same girl and are now very good close friends.

Rixton are also very good friends with singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and have wrote two songs with him both of which will feature on Rixton's debut album 'Let the Road' due to release March 3rd 2015.

Ed sheeran co-wrote the song hotel ceiling the song of which I am speaking of video was released a few days ago and adds a dark twist to the otherwise romantic yet sad song. 'hotel ceiling' - http://youtu.be/hLS2ZTMayyI

Rixton also had a song featured on the hit movie The Giver's soundtrack.

I hope you enjoyed this post as I have put a lot of effort into to it and incase you didn't realise Rixton were my favourite to write about and over all as they are my favourite band and I idolise them as they're all round nice guys.
