Chatty Mid-Week Update

Hi guys you can put your pitchforks away i am finally uploading a blog post!

Today i have decided to do a chatty post about what has been going on in my life this week and stuff thats on my mind lately.

Okay so first of i have an announcement drum roll please...
I am going to be uploading YOUTUBE VIDEOS every week with some friends of mine on a collab channel plans are just underway so stay tuned for more details. We are currently conferring a channel name so if you have any ideas please comment them below.

Next on the agenda i am travelling to Edinburgh on thursday, - so expect daily vlogs (if not my friends are vlogging)It is a school trip so it should be very interesting but we are allowed free time on 2 of the days to go shopping and explore edinburgh but i have some vlogger friends travelling with me so vlogging should be okay.

and on sunday the day after i get back from Edinburgh i have a young enterprise market to go to - so this week i am a busy worker bee buzzing away.

DIY Shabby Chic Makeup Table

Hello,  As some of you may know I have been redecorating my bedroom and I have never had a really nice makeup table - ever! So me and my mam set out to refurbish an old set of drawers.  Before we painted the drawers we sanded them down (with sand paper 😂) and then we applied the paint! A good tip with applying paint is to go with the natural wood grain or it just won't look right.  The paint I used was Rust-Oleum Chalk Finish Furniture Paint In Chalk White!  If you want it to look 'shabby chic' then apply two coats and go other when finished with a damp sheet of sand paper to make it look distressed. When you have the disered look make sure it stays and won't get stained by the stuff on it by applying wax. I personally used the wax that the paint tin said to use which was Rust-Oleum Finishing Wax. And this was the end result.. Dun... Hello Lovelies, I have been writing on this blog since January (well seriously) and I feel like you, my readers don't know all that much about me so I thought I would do this post with some random facts about me and why I started this blog?  Okay let's start with why I started this blog!?  One of the main reasons why I wanted to start this blog is that I love writing and my dream job is to be a journalist. So I first thought if I continue with this blog it can show that I can write regularly and people can see my writing techniques! (I think that may make some sense). Then I found a topic to write about that I really enjoyed - fashion and lifestyle so I write for pleasure (as I always have!) but I find I am a lot more passionate with what I am doing.
