Let's Talk! - Birthdays, Old Friends and Back To School!?

Hello lovelies,

I feel like I haven't done a let's talk post in awhile so I thought what better time then now!  I hope you are all well and happy, as I am both of those and looking forward to my birthday on Monday. I will be turning 16 for those interested. 

As I was planning what I am wanting to do for my birthday I was realising that I had neglected my blog. As I slowly have been getting back into blogging I found myself getting back in touch with an old friend of mine who I grew up with. We went to nursery, infants school and juniors school so it has been lovely re-getting to know each other again. This person is fellow blogger ( and youtuber!) Chloe May, she was honestly the kindest person I knew growing up and I am happy to report she is still the same happy and kind person. I highly suggest you going to read her blog here as she is uploading everyday for this month.

If any of you are wondering what I am doing for my birthday,  I will be going out on sunday with my friends for a meal and then on monday/tuesday I will be going out for food and seeing Suicide Squad with my mam and dad. 


Also I am looking forward to my back to school blog post but I would love to hear what you are all looking forward to and what dates you are going back to school so I can organise my posts for you all!

DIY Shabby Chic Makeup Table

Hello,  As some of you may know I have been redecorating my bedroom and I have never had a really nice makeup table - ever! So me and my mam set out to refurbish an old set of drawers.  Before we painted the drawers we sanded them down (with sand paper 😂) and then we applied the paint! A good tip with applying paint is to go with the natural wood grain or it just won't look right.  The paint I used was Rust-Oleum Chalk Finish Furniture Paint In Chalk White!  If you want it to look 'shabby chic' then apply two coats and go other when finished with a damp sheet of sand paper to make it look distressed. When you have the disered look make sure it stays and won't get stained by the stuff on it by applying wax. I personally used the wax that the paint tin said to use which was Rust-Oleum Finishing Wax. And this was the end result.. Dun... Why I Haven't Been Uploading?

Hello Lovelies, Today I thought I would tell you why I haven't been uploading for the past three days. I have been having really bad sleepless nights where I go to sleep at 2:30 am on school nights because I have had really bad chest pains, a cough and wheezing.  I have also had a really stressful week where I have been coming home from school and just sitting crying because of someone in school who my closest friends are friends with. I hate arguing so I just keep walking away from my friends feeling uncomfortable around them the only person I have is myself when I am upset. So I just end up walking around school by myself crying in anger!  So I haven't really been feeling motivated to write blog posts I don't want to sugar coat that everything and everyone in my life is perfect when it isn't. I just wanted to say thank you for reading and I hope to create blog posts again soon. - Ellie Xx
